Hope in the Desert --
The New Testament and Gay/Lesbian Ministry

Jeffrey S. Siker is professor of New Testament and chairs the Department of Theological Studies at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles (A Jesuit University).  He received his M.Div. from Yale Divinity School and his Ph.D. in New Testament from Princeton Theological Seminary. 

Dr. Siker is an ordained Presbyterian Minister, currently Parish Associate at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles.  He is married and has two children.

This talk was given at the 10th Annual Conference of the National Association of Catholic Diocesan Lesbian and Gay Ministries in Palm Springs, California on September 25, 2003.
